Our main goal is to supply your company or organisation with a comprehensive and cost effective solution to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations.
All Employers and Landlords/Letting agents are responsible by law for preventing any harm coming to their employees, customers and tenants when using equipment provided for their use. If your working environment or property has any appliances with a mains voltage plug attached, for example: Computers, Monitors, Printers, Kettles, Microwaves, Fridges, Vacuum Cleaners, Cash Tills, etc. you will have a duty to comply with all the necessary regulations. PAT testing is the best way you can fulfil this obligation.
Failure to implement a programme of Portable Appliance Testing can also have insurance implications!
As well as hotels, offices, landlords and industry sites etc. we have a specialist department dealing specifically with pat testing for artists, bands and DJs. Throughout the UK, more and more venues are insisting that acts have their gear tested regularly, and ask to see up-to-date documentation.
We have over 20 years experience in the electrical and professional music business, so we understand music equipment, what it is used for, how it is used, and how to repair it if necessary. This makes us an ideal choice to PAT test your music equipment.
All our engineers are highly experienced and hold the current City & Guilds PAT testing qualification.
Once the testing is complete we will provide a professionally bound test report which will contain a copy of the test results, printed asset management register. We can even provide a CD-ROM version of the asset management register and certificates of Electrical Safety if preferred.
